• Hi,

I’m relatively new to the SEO scene and thought Yoast would be the best way to get started with SEO for my site. However the developer who created my site used a mixture of WP but mostly customised it all in HTML & CSS. Meaning that when Yoast SEO is looking at the content of the page it can sometimes appears like there is a lot less content then is actually there.

For example, Yoast detects there are no images and only a short sentence on my home page. Which is not the case, there are many images and a couple of paragraphs of text content. Is it possible to change how Yoast reads the page or am I limited to it will only read the direct WP content?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
