    Hi everyone

I have a problem with Yoast : the meta bloc has disapear on images and media files.
I did’nt make any change so I really don’t understand why it has suddenly disapear…
I tried to update my WP version (5.1.1 now) and yoast pluggin (10 now) but the problem still occur.
I’ve noticed however that the meta are back when I choose “NO” in the setting “Media” : (redirect the URL of the atteachment files to medias) – But I’d like to avoird this option that doesn’t seem a good idea for SEO.
Can anyone help me on the subject ? (and apologize for my english ^^)
    Many thanks in advance !
    Virginie

  • Hi,

This is expected. The meta bloc is designed to help make the page rank by outputting SEO and readability analysis along with giving you the option to add a title and meta.

However, you are right, those media pages are not good for SEO. So when you select NO it removes that meta bloc and Google will not index those pages?

Is there a particular reason you want the meta bloc to appear on the media pages that Google will not index?
