Support » Plugin: Rank Math - SEO Plugin for WordPress » Yoast meta and title not imported in classic editor?

I am a long-time user of WordPress and have Blogposts in both classic editor as well as the new Gutenberg editor. I was looking forward to switching from Yoast to Rank Math. So I tried it on my staging site first. The transfer went seamlessly.

However, upon checking the posts in the classic editor, the meta title and meta description are missing. Here is a screenshot:

Fortunately, upon checking the source code, it does contain meta description are title.

Why did that happen? Now I doubt whether all the Yoast data has been correctly imported and won’t affect my SEO and ranking.

    Hello

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It is working fine on our end:

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins, themes, and WordPress (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi,
It is the official Classic Editor plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/
When I deactivate it, I see meta title and meta description in the Editor.

However, when I activate the plugin with these options, the title and description are missing.

    Please fix.
