Yoast locks my ability to edit for a few seconds at a time

    I’m on the latest version, and latest wordpress version. I have contributors on my page, and for some reason when I am editing their posts it will lock my ability to do anything in the wordpress editor window for a few seconds after I make any changes. Every time I change some text, change the category, etc., I cant click anything in the window and then a few seconds later I can again. I disabled all plugins and went one by one and was able to figure out that its the yoast plugin thats causing this issue. Is this an issue that others have had? Anything I can do to stop this from happening?

    It’s possible this is a conflict between Yoast and one your other plugins or your theme. To be able to determine that, you need to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Seventeen. If the issue goes away, reactivate your other plugins one at a time and see if the issue recurs for every plugin reactivated. Finally, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or your theme.
