  • @azaozz this seems like an important issue and is also being reported on the Yoast SEO forum. Are you fixing it?

@fdestiny it will help to know the versions of WP and Yoast, as well as any other specifics to help reproduce the problem

@galbaras don’t think the incompatibility is with the Classic Editor plugin. It’s rather with the classic editor in core.

In any case, posting a detailed description and error messages here may help. There may be something that can be fixed in core (of course that will need core ticket, etc.). If nothing else, other users will know what’s going on 🙂

I’ve tested 2 sites with WP 5.2, Yoast SEO 11.2 and Classic Editor 1.5 and the SEO box appears and seems to be working OK on the post editing page.

More details, hopefully with a screen capture, will definitely help.

There’s a new version of Yoast SEO (11.2.1) that claims to fix this

I have downgraded classic editor to previous version meanwhile, and it was fine.

What happens if you update both plugins to the latest versions?

I don’t know and I am not willing to try because these errors are eating my valuable time so I will stick to this solution considering supports is slow
