@dragory I flagged your account for your choice of language. It’s understandable to be upset having a bad experience, but please don’t us vulgarities here.

Are you using the block editor or the old/classic editor?

Lol, flagged for one tiny word. I’m using the block editor. As soon as Yoast is activated i can’t create or edit posts or pages.

Yoast SEO works with both the classic and block editor. Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict.

Please provide the answers to the following:

    1. Have you performed a conflict check? If not, please do so. Did you discover a conflict?
    2. Does the issue occur when using a default theme with only Yoast SEO active?
    3. Does the issue occur with the current 4.9.x or 5.0.x version of WordPress?
    4. Does the issue occur with the current 9.4 version of Yoast SEO?
    5. Is the issue specific to a certain part of your site, like posts, products, categories, etc?
    6. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.

If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our premium email support so we can help you further.

That’s not necessary. Upload the image to whatever image service you like and share the link to that image.

This service is just one, there are others.

After using Yoast for years i’m not happy about the failure to fix the issues with the new editor. Therefor i’ve started using All in one SEO instead. Works like a charm.

    Hi,

We’d be happy to continue to investigate and resolve this issue but we need your help.

    1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    2. Can you describe those JavaScript errors or use https://postimages.org/ to share those images? We ask as sometimes those JavaScript errors provide a clue that can help determine what is happening.

If you are not interested in continued troubleshooting, no worries. You may ignore this comment. No reply back is needed and we will close this thread in a couple days.

These types of error messages indicate a conflict in your setup. As you said you didn’t find any plugin or theme conflicts, we think the issue is specific to your setup. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our premium email support where we can help you further.

Not interested in paying for premium, especially not after the problems that occured with the new editor. I’m gonna stick with All in one SEO.
