@danzmwl,
Hm. Custom product tab content is saved as postmeta which is what Yoast should be expecting.
Can you explain how you know that Yoast doesn’t recognize custom product tab content?
Although Yoast is installed on just about every website I work on, I rarely have to interact with it.
Let me know. I’m more than willing to update the plugin to be more compatible with Yoast.
Cheers,
Kevin.
Hello @yikesitskevin,
The reason I think Yoast is not recognising content in the tabs as due to the Yoast Internal links feature. On some product pages where there are internal links, but only on the custom tabs, Yoast says there are no internal links at all.
Hello,
Understood. Okay. That sounds like something we can look into. I am not sure how Yoast is detecting internal links but we’ll make a ticket and investigate it during our next development cycle. If you find anything else related to this, please share it here.
Thank you!
Kevin.
Content posted on a Woocomerce product custom attribute as a tab does not get accounted on the Yoast SEO analysis, can this be resolved
Hi @tilan77,
We’re looking at how to integrate our plugin into Yoast’s content analysis. There’s no progress on this yet.
