Yoast disables the 'select by author' function of my site in SolostreaWP Sublime

Hi,
There seems to be some issue between my site and WordPress SEO from Yoast.

My template allows me to add an author to each blog (so each blog can be entered by a different author). When you click the author name it will select all blogs by that author. (a bit similar to when you click a tag or a category). My site is in Solostream’s theme WP Sublime.

When WordPress SEO is on, this function no longer works. Instead, when you click the author you are redirected to the homepage.

Any ideas how to solve this? Any help would be appreciated.
