Yoast cannot override meta descriptions due to Sydney theme issue

    Hi, WordPress Syney Theme and Yoast Plugin SEO query.
    The yoast plugin installed on our wordpress website doesn’t override the default meta descriptions. According to our SEO manager, this is more of an issue with the wordpress theme than the Yoast plugin.

    It’s been mentioned that this is a common issue within the Sydney theme. How can we fix this?

    Hello,

    Currently I see “Uplift Accounting – Uplift Your Bottomline” as the meta description of the page that you mentioned. Are you trying to set different meta description using Yoast SEO plugin?
