Support » Plugin: Glue for Yoast SEO & AMP » Yoast Broken AMP Pages

  • Hi,

    I have just added default logo and feature image to yoast amp options but now when I go to a page that does not have a feature image it is showing a 404 error.

    I have tried in the yoast plugin to remove the images by pressing the clear button but that has stopped working so I can not resolve the issue.

    The images are the correct sizes so can someone please help as the errors are going to crush my site.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Can you confirm what AMP plugin you are currently using on your website? If you deactivate the Glue plugin of Yoast and AMP, does the issue resolve itself? It’s possible that the issue doesn’t lie with the Glue plugin, as it sounds like it could be more due to the AMP plugin you are using.

    It was a bug with yoast see below how to fix

    Until we have fixed this problem, you can use the following JavaScript command in the console:

    jQuery(‘input[name=”wpseo_amp[amp_site_icon]”]’).val(”);
    jQuery(‘input[name=”wpseo_amp[amp_site_icon_id]”]’).val(”);
    You can open the console by right-clicking on an element in the page and select ‘inspect’ and click on the console-tab or use:

    Chrome + MacOS: command+option+J
    Chrome + Windows: control+shift+J

    Firefox + MacOS: command+option+K
    Firefox + Windows: control+shift+K

    Paste the lines and press enter to execute them, the field should be cleared.
    Press “Save” to save the changes.
