    hello
im using WPML with yoast and also the wpml glue plguin
my main site is in english, and i have a lot of hebrew content that i dont want to delete and not ready to show on the sitemap yet.

i set hebrew to hide at WPML, and the product are gone from the yoast sitemap, but the product category are still there.
how do i remove the product category from yoast sitemap without removing the categories themself? I cant use the exclude taxomony by slug filter becasue the product categories of both heb and eng have the same slug.

the difference is that heb are like this “/he/product-category/slug/”

@orshvartz To clarify, are you wanting the product categories to be included in the English sitemap, but not the Hebrew one? Also, if you are only wanting the product categories to not appear in the Hebrew sitemap, are you also wanting them to be in turn set to noindex, while still having the English product categories set to index?

I want the hebrew product categories will be removed from the sitemap.
right now the are hidden with WPML and redirecting to homepage. example: https://spartatoys.com/he/product-category/bondage/he-bondage-for-beginners/he-light-bondage/

since there are almost 300 hundred of those, I am looking for a way to remove them all from the sitemap at once and not one by one

Hi! At this time Yoast does not have a way to remove language specific content types from the sitemap. We have an open request for it here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/9192. We suggest commenting on the issue so you may be kept aware of any updates. You may need to create a GitHub account in order to post.

The only workaround would be to use our filter here wpseo_exclude_from_sitemap_by_post_ids which would remove the URLs from the sitemap.
