I’ve got the same issue being experienced in this thread, https://wordpress.org/support/topic/facebook-twitter-cards-issue/

I’ve updated to Yoast 7.2 and no matter what I do I can’t get the OG information to pull through to Facebook. I can clearly see that the OG values are being generated when I view the page source but Facebook just doesn’t pick it up.

I have used the debug console to clear the cache and rescrape but it doesn’t fix the problem.

The errors generated from the debug console are.

    Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

    and

    Missing Properties
    The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

    Edit: …and broken again. Sigh.

After a day of fiddling and trying everything possible in terms of disabling plugins, going through my server config with a fine tooth comb (looking at things like fail2ban etc.) Open Graph just started working again.

I suspect the issue was on Facebook’s side.
