    I am trying to work with my developer to see if this WooCommerce Plugin may be able to be integrated with my businesses POS (Point of Sale) system. The question for anyone out there who may have experience with this plugin is this. What is the format and convention for the gift card’s numeric or alphanumeric Code that a customer receives when they purchase or are gifted an e-gift card from this plugin?
    Example format of code needed to use e-gift card: 12345-54321 as in saying there are 2- 5 digit numbers separated by a dash.
    Example of how the code is generated: an algorithm, a simple number sequence, etc.

    Secondly, are there options as to both of these variables or can both of these variables easily changed within the plugin?

    Hello,

    The code is generated by an algorithm which gives an unique id.

    We have uploaded a new version of the plugin which includes a filter call “yith_ywgc_gift_card_code” that your developer can use to modify the gift card code.

    Please update the plugin to the last version then you can use this new feature.
