Yikes! I'm locked out of my admin panel! (3 posts)

I have been trying to make a static home page.

I made a directory called /home and I put home.php into it. I did the URL change in the admin panel options (the first of the two boxes - I didn't know if I needed to do the second one so I left it with the main URL - http://www.celebrityenglish.com).

I was trying to update the file but what I was uploading did not show up when I loaded the page (it uploaded once, then I modified the file and when I overwrote it, the changes did not show up). I wanted to change the directory to /static and put the file in there, but when I went to go to the admin panel, I got a 404 and there is no theme. All my content seems fine.

I reinstalled WP 2.0.4 as if I were upgrading (everything except the content directory) but that doesn't help.

When I try to go to the admin panel, I get this URL:

    What should I do?

Thanks! I had just finished figuring that out. I had never been inside the database like that before, so it was scary. Good to know that my instincts were right!
