# Yet Another Posting Problem

 * I have a problem: The site hangs when I attempt to publish a post.
 * Here is a list of things I have tried and their results:
 * Deactivate all plugins, reset folder via FTP: No Effect
 * Revert to default theme: No Effect
 * Upgrade to 3.0: No Effect
 * Rinse and repeat multiple times: No Effect
 * Manually Set the post to ‘published’ in the database: The permalinks pointed 
   back to the homepage!
 * But here is the kicker, I can create a post with the same title and just “test”
   as the content just fine
 * I can’t see any problems with the HTML of the post, but i’ll post it here anyway:

 * – try to deactivate the plugins one by one and check
    – install default wordpress
   theme and check whether posting is working or not
 * – delete all the inactive plugins sometime it may cause the probs

 * Would that be in the ‘options’ table, I ruled that out completely, did a sql 
   dump from a completely fresh install, no effect

 * sorry, would plugins deactivated, not deleted cause problems in the ‘options’
   table
