Hey @asif_rn – Thanks for reaching out!
I looked into the website, and I was able to replicate the issue on my end wherein I noticed “Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.”. I see that you’ve mentioned testing for plugin conflict and disabling minification etc. In this case, to help you fix the issue, I’d need some help.
I see that you’re using the Autoptimize plugin. When you get a chance, can you please enable the default WordPress theme, and also disable the Autoptimize plugin?
I also see that you’re using Cloudflare CDN. Could you please temporarily disable Cloudflare CDN. Once you’ve made the above changes, please et me know as that will help me to take a closer look.
Kindly,

Hi @prashantrai ,
Thank you for the reply. I can’t disable cloudflare as it leads to https issues. I tried disabling it but the browser immediately stopped showing non-secure site. The site is live so cannot change to the default theme. The Autoptimize can be disabled if this helps for a certain timeframe only.
I have tried disabling everything in the past but that message doesn’t go away. The javascript is always enabled in the browser. There is no conflict of any sort or any error in the devtool console ever. The form is working fine otherwise, send emails. No idea why it is displaying the message “Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.”
I have tested in other browsers too and faced the same issue. Tried disabling cache, couldn’t find any issue with the theme or any plugin that is causing it even disabled all plugins. No Custom Scripts issues either as I have tried disabling every single script but to no avail.
Hey @asif_rn – Thanks for following on this ticket!
As you have the option of testing for conflict with Autoptimize, when you have sometime, can you please try disabling the plugin and see if the error message goes away?
Kindly,
pro-tip; you can disable Autoptimize on a per-request basis by adding ?ao_noptimize=1
to the URL.
if the problem is not there at that point, some autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this. there are troubleshooting tips and info on how to exclude in the AO FAQ.
hope this helps debugging,
frank (ao dev)

Thank you for the reply. Since it was taking longer to fix the issue therefore I now have moved to Forminator which is working without any JS issues.
Hey @@asif_rn – While I’m sad to see you go, in case you every have any questions about WPForms, please feel free to reachout
Kindly,
I am having the same problem.
I am NOT using a caching plugin as in development. Client had this, so went with it. Never seen before with other plugins.
Client purchased the Plus plugin hoping to remove this issue. Please advise.
Hi @paul16f1,
Thanks for reaching out!
Considering this information: “Client purchased the Plus plugin hoping to remove this issue.”
If you have an active license subscription with us, could you please submit a support ticket through the WPForms account dashboard when you have a chance?
From there, our support team will be able to take a closer look at your request.
Thanks!
*RESOLVED*
Settings>General
“Include Form Styling” CAN’T have it set to “no Styling”
Go figure!!!
I also encountered the issue in which the form itself displayed “Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.”
For me, it was resolved by disabling “Use Modern Markup” in Settings > General
Hi @paul16f1 and @misfist,
Thanks for sharing those details on how you solved the issue.
But it’s weird because those settings should not cause a JavaScript alert. Please confirm if you’re using the latest version of WPForms Lite.
If you’d like more help with this, could you please create a new post on our WPForms Lite support forum.
Thanks!
Hi Ralden
Please speak to tech support as they were provided access to the website and they advised me how to fix it (as noted).
It did not seem to stop the form working but that alert came up. It makes no sense to me either.
an issue with the plugin I think.
By the way we are using latest paid version.
Hi @paul16f1,
Thanks for the information!
I believe I could find details of the issue you’re facing in the ticket #3878776 opened by Anna.
In case the issue continues for you, could you please continue the conversation in the ticket #3878776? Or submit a support ticket through the WPForms account dashboard?
From there, our support team will be able to take a closer look at the issue.
I apologize that we’re not able to respond to paid version questions here in the WordPress.org support forums for the free version, but I really appreciate your help!
Thanks!
I also have problem: “Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.” I have two forms on 1 page. One shows up and works, and the other gives an error, that’s a big problem. Is there any solution yet?
