Yearly recurring events only displaying 4 years

I posted a yearly recurring event with no end date (forever) and also tried it with 10 recurrences and only 4 events (one per year) are showing up, the initial event plus 3 recurrences. Is this occurring for others? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting for this?

Unfortunately our web site is currently on a development server which is not accessible by the public for inspection.
