Year, Weekly view do not highlight “today” as they do in Monthly view

When you view Full Calendar in Monthly view you see a highlight on the “today’s date” but in Yearly and Weekly you do not. Has to be an oversight. Please fix.

Then, in Daily view it doesn’t slide to “today” but instead it’s hidden and requires user interaction. Cannot be by design. Ironically, after scrolling, “today’s date” is highlighted, which is great and what I was asking about above in the other views. Oddly, it’s a different color than the Monthly, but at least it’s there.

Lastly, in List view it pulls Featured Images which I setup to size well on social media sites but you pull thumbnails and my (typical featured images) do not fit properly in the square box as they are 16:9.
