# Year range not visible

 * I’ve enabled selection for month and year, since I would like to use it for a
   birth date. I’ve entered a year range from 1900 to 2015. But nothing is added
   to the shortcode, and only the years 2005 to 2015 are visible. How to fix this?
   My shortcode looks like this:
 * `[date* birthdate date-format:dd/mm/yy min-date:01-01-1900 max-date:0 first-day:
   1 change-month change-year]`

 * I’m trying to find a solution for this exact same problem. I know you can go 
   back in ten year chunks by hitting the earliest year over and over again, but
   it’s not intuitive and it makes the site look really unprofessional.

 * try adding this to your shortcode, it worked in my case:
 * year-range:1900:2015
