[Resolved] Year-by-year Rosters

  • What is the best way to show rosters per year? Simply create a team with a year-specific slug? E.g. 2012-Gold, 2012-Silver, 2013-Gold, 2013-Silver etc. Then have season links use the appropriate slug?

Or is there a better way, using hierarchical teams – e.g. 2012 parent, Gold and Silver teams under.

    Thanks,
    Tim

    Hi timosborn,
Yes, you should just use separate teams and slugs. The Teams taxonomy doesn’t work very effectively with hierarchical teams right now. I thought about making the taxonomy non-hierarchical (tag-like, not category-like) but I decided to leave it hierarchical in case I discover a cool reason to make the hierarchies work.
