[resolved] YARPP not finding enough (4 posts)

Hi Guys, YARPP is up and running fine, but it's not finding „enough“. Example: http://www.crackajack.de/2013/04/13/daft-punks-coachella-ad/

Based on Tags and Headline (I have Tons of Postings about Coachella and Daft Punk, not to mention Music) YARPP should really find enough to fill in the 4 Slots, but it only finds 3 things. I already put the Treshold to Zero and allow every Tag und Category…

Another Example: I have more than 20 Postings about Quentin Tarantinos Movies, but still this http://www.crackajack.de/2013/03/27/happy-50th-quentin-tarantino/ only finds 2 Postings… Strange behaviour…

    Any thoughts on this?

Try lowering the "match threshold" if you want YARPP to not be as selective.

In YARPP settings, go to the "screen options" tab and you can show the "Relatedness" settings. There, lower the match threshold (default 4) to maybe 2 or 3, and save. See if that helps.

Additionally, you can help it find clearly related posts by making sure they have a number of tags or categories in common.

Hi Mitcho, thanks for the response.

I played around with the Threshold ofcourse, lowering it to 0 and 1 and went with 5, same Results… (Maybe Caching-Problem? But I deleted the Cache and Rebuilt it – still not enough ;)

Tags and Categories should be no Problem, I have more than 20.000 Postings with all kinds of tags, YARPP should find 4 matching Postings at every single Post…

Anyway, I'll play around and this Problem is pretty minor, I'll go with YARPP anyways, thanks for that! ;)
