xxx_aiowps_global_meta very big

Hi there,
I have this plugin installed on several sites, and I have noticed that the xxx_aiowps_global_meta table gets very large.
I’ve read posts on the forum saying there’s cron jobs to tidy it up, and I have the latest version of the plugin. But it’s still huge, being about 8mb of one of my sites.
I’ve gone through all the screens, login lockdown screens etc, and can’t find anywhere with a dump of data that might make it. So any help to narrow down where to find it would be great.
Thanks
Jamie

Just narrowing this down a bit more, and I had a look in phpmyadmin
2016-10-23 17:50:57′, ‘file_change_detection’, ”,
And it’s a couple of million characters long, with a log of everything that was done which is displayed at http://site.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=aiowpsec_filescan
Is it safe for me to nuke this using a plugin, or some feedback would be it would be great if you could purge this log, like with some of the other logs.
Hi Jamie, try the following. Deactivate the plugin and reactivate it again. Check your log files and also check that table via phpMyAdmin. Let me know if this helps you?

it does, thanks!
Glad to know 😉
Hi,
The plugin was recommended by a friend and works fine, however I have a question. To make backups of my sites I ftp the wp folders and export/import my DB from phpmyadmin and I check whether my backup is OK by re-creating the site on localhost. I can export the whole DB without problems but I cannot import it locally (when reaching the xxx_AOIWPS_global_meta table import stops and I get lots of sql “pink” error comments). I performed a series of partial exports and indeed the xxx_AOIWPS_global_meta can be exported but not imported on localhost. However If I export/import my DB <em>minus the AOIWPS tables then deactivate/reactivate the plugin it works fine but what about the periodical DB backups performed by my host? Of course they cannot select which tables should be omitted so I’m wondering whether all these backups are in fact useless. Or could the problem be linked to the fact that I restore on a different site (from host to localhost)? May be the answer is obvious but I am very far from being an expert in this area.
Thanks a lot for your help
Regards
