xprofile addon or wait

I know sweetdate is bringing out a new release soon. Are you working on a paid version for the sweetdate theme?

There is already a free add-on for Sweet-date theme which is part of GEO my WP core plugin. You can activate the add-on from GEO my WP -> add-ons page.

And the new Kleo add-on does not replace the Sweet-date theme add-on but it meant to work with the Kleo theme.

So to answer your question, I won’t develop a paid add-on for Sweet-date theme. The Sweet-date theme add-on will always be free and part of GEO my WP.

Because when I buy the x profiles addon now and next week you bring out a newer “something” I would be really feel bad about that.

Xprofile Fields add-on as nothing to do with Kleo nor Sweet-date themes. Well, at least not directly. Xprofile Fields add-on will work with any theme and It simply provide the members of your site with the ability to update their location via Xprofile fields instead of the Location tab. Which means that they can also save location during BuddyPress registration process.

However, one point of criticism is that you are not really clear in the website or plugin that it is not a one time buyer fee but an annual subscription. That was a surprise I ran into, reading the terms.

True. The license duration supposes to show at the top of each of the add-ons page where it shows the details about the add-on but I now see that for some reason it is gone.

I will update the pages with this information. It truly was unintentional.
