• Hello,

    I am no code wiz. I just whant things to work.

    A quick background (dont dwelve into it, just to give a short version of the initial problem causing my current situation with xmlrpc.php)

    2-3 wordpress versions back i updated wordpress within the admin page, to the then current version. It made a mess and I couldnt log in and so forth. That got helped out by my webhost. BUT, one thing still remains a year later. and no matter how I have tried, have it ever been resolved. I even got try to help out with the Jetpack plugin people themselves. Because Jetpack is not installing correctly, and doesnt work. Heck, I even helped the jetpack people to get in contact with my webhost to allow their jetpack to work in my country as well.

    Now, to today, the xmlrpc.php problem.
    But my problem is still not entirey solved. and that is the xmlrpc.php file.
    For some reason it shows html/css lines from my regular website, which is a standard html website with CSS styles, and the only thing my blog and regular website share, is the webhost/domain.

    Here is the xmlrpc.php link http://canvas.nu/stefanlindblad-blog/xmlrpc.php. Look and see if you can understand how I can resolve this. If anyone can. I have searched the forums on wordpress.prg as well as Google and got help without solution form Jetpack authors. No one seem to be able to know what to do.

    I will, if no one can help me, either stop trying to use Jetpack entirely, or heavens forbid, uninstall entirely my blog database and reinstall it from the ground up, and then upload my blog postings and everthign again.

    Just the thought of it make me go “Ugh”.

    A BIG thank you for anyone who might see what the issue it.

    Stefan

    I have already tried to;

    – deactivate all plugins
    – changing themes
    – uninstall and reinstall jetpack
    – and just today, I activated w3 total cache, and the cach seems empty
    – i tried by temprarily removing a dash (/) in the wp-load.php file
