I didn’t find anything that could resolve my problem(s). Well,

    – my xmlrpc.php causes some problems (I can’t use performancing plugin for FF or post via flickr,…)
    – trackbacks into and out of my blog don’t work (even if I use all default settings like default template, permalinks,…)
    – my feeds aren’t correct, so I had to change the links in header.php (example: http://www.lampelina.net/wp-rss.php)

Is all that related and if – where to start fixing those problems?

    One problem at a time:

Your feed link is actually http://www.lampelina.net/feed/ , however, it looks funky in a browser because you have something inserting 2 blank lines into every page. This could be a plugin, or it could be your theme’s functions.php file, or if could even be your wp-config.php file. Somewhere, something has extra blank lines at the beginning or end of it. Find and remove those and your feed problem will go away.

Both of these could be xmlrpc related issues. I attempted to access yours but am getting no results from it. Either it’s broken (bad file?) or your host is blocking it somehow (some hosts do this thinking it’s somehow dangerous when it’s not). No way I can help you on this one except to say check the file and make sure it’s the same as the one you got with that version of WordPress.

Thanks Otto. I’ll try to find those 2 lines-this should be the easy part.

About xmlrpc – it must be the host (which settings?) , because I have all those problems since I’ve installed wp 2.0.5 (now is the latest). In the mean time I deleted the whole domain of the server and than reinstall all from the beginning. New and fresh, but it was still the same (with only default plugins – on or off, default template,…)
