I don’t need any help as my webhosting has since resolved my issue with XMLRPC file. But I do want people to take heed in the future when making a new wordpress blog and installing Jetpack. I am not sure if all web hosts are doing this, I just know mine is and they are ifastnet.com.

They do have security features installed to block that specific file and will try to tell others that Jetpack is using the Reset API which they are hoping will happen. I have been able to resolve it with my sites, but now I know in the future that I need to contact them again to enable it so that I could install Jetpack on another subdomain.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @eternalshad0wz

Thanks for sharing that, but the forum threads are mainly used for support requests or questions.

I am happy to hear that your issue with the XML-RPC endpoint was resolved, but do let us know if you need help with anything Jetpack-specific 🙂

I was wondering is it possible to install and run Jetpack without the XML-RPC file ? I am mostly wondering because it’s not a true hassle, but somewhat of one when I am having to contact my webhost to have them turn off the security for that file alone. I know that if I don’t activate the “Jet Pack Social” does it still require the XML-RPC file? Because if so, I’ll manually share my posts and not use that part of the plug in
