Hi bsal,
Thank you for your response, still the same issues. I think the plugin cannot handle this much results from query.
There are in total almost 40.000 records in the database that’s processed in WordPress. The site is holding strong and staying at normal load time. Only the sitemaps are not working in this case.
Wow I went down the rabbit hole on this one and solved it here. Thanks guys. Such a simple solution.
Hello,

It shows: “Page not found”
Please give a solution as soon as possible. I have tried all of your way what you shows here.
What to do now?

Hello,
I am having the followins error message whan trying to display my sitemap :
This page contains the following errors:
error on line 1 at column 61: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.
My site is
I tried to inactivate sitemap, then activate after modifications but this does not solve the problem;
Moreover there is no sitemap on my site repository.
How to get back to an older version that is not bugged ?
Hello everyone,
I am facing bit different issue. I have been advised below for one of our public facing website.
*****************************************************************************
XML sitemap priority & change frequency.
Each node requires additional properties for example on http://employsure.co.nz/post-sitemap.xml
<url>
<loc>http://employsure.co.nz/blog/</loc>
<lastmod>{date last modifiyed}</lastmod>
<changefreq>{ How frequently the page is likely to change}</changefreq>
<priority>{ priority score for the page 0.1 to 1.0 }</priority>
</url>
****************************************************************************
What I have understood from above is that – my structure of XML Sitemap should look like http://employsure.com.au/post-sitemap.xml
But currently it looks like http://employsure.co.nz/post-sitemap.xml (Prio, Ch. Freq. is missing)
Can someone please advice? I want to add Prio and Ch. Freq. at http://employsure.co.nz/post-sitemap.xml
Regards
Shweta Mukta
@muktashweta We removed the priority and change frequency from our XML Sitemaps in the 3.5 version as Google has said publicly that they donβt use them on most sites.
1year later, still not working!
