 * I’m getting a 404 for the sitemap and cannot locate it?
 * Also, not sure if this is the plugin but when it was recently update, when now
   posting to twitter, it’s not showing summary with large image?

 * Make sure that the XML Sitemaps functionality is enabled in the plugin. Please
   refer [here](https://kb.yoast.com/kb/enable-xml-sitemaps-in-the-wordpress-seo-plugin/#enable).
   If you’re still getting a 404 error, please flush your permalinks by going to
   Admin > Settings > Permalinks and save the page without changing anything. Once
   done, try loading your sitemap again.

 * Hello @Rumejan i have same issue
 * The XML Sitemaps option is On in the plugin
    I also go to Admin> Settings> Permalinks
   and save the page.
 * but still the sitemap is not showing and sitemap link is redirecting to homepage.
 * what should I do? the sitemap is working fine before update
 * should i delete and install the plugin again? how to complete remove the plugin?
 * i even disable the yoast plugin in plugin page but still sitemap url is redirecting
   to homepage.

 * If you are still unable to generate the XML Sitemaps after enabling it and flushing
   the parmalinks, can you try and gather as much information for us as possible?
   Please perform the following:
 * 1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. [Check for conflicts](https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts).
   3. Check for [JavaScript errors with your console](https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console).
 * If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict
   with a plugin or a theme, you can create a [new GitHub issue](https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new)
   for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.
