XML Sample File

Hello there.
I am currently researching for a way to import a large amount of products into Woocommerce, and I know now that its possible to import a XML or CSV file. Ok, but now I have a very simple question: what is the layout / template we should use in, say, Excel spreadsheet, in order to export it correctly? I can’t seem to find this information anywhere and all the tutorials about importing the csv or xml file start with some pre-made file, and I don’t know how to elaborate that file.
