# XML-RPC Error

 * When logging into my wordpress account, the wait is more than eight minutes, 
   and after finally loading, I get an error message at the top of my dashboard 
   saying “XML-RPC Error:-32300:transport error – could not open socket: 110 Connection
   timed out”. This has never happened before and it has slowed administrating to
   a crawl. If anyone knows of the reason or a fix, please inform me.

    If you have changed nothing it could 
   well be a change on their side.

 * I have just come across this issue myself, I am running the 2.1 release. My admin
   section has grinded to a halt, and PWJ Version Check is outputing:-
 * “XML-RPC Error:-32300:transport error – HTTP status code was not 200”
 * I did find though if you disable PWP WordPress Version Check plugin, WordPress
   seems to function correctly again.
 * Any other ideas, I’d be grateful if anyone knows what has caused this, and get
   my version checker running again.
