• Hey Yoast,
    can you solve this riddle?

    WordPress version: 3.5.1
    WordPress SEO version: 1.4.7

I did this: updated wpseo plugin a week or so ago to 1.4.7.

I expected the plugin to do this: continue working as expected.

    Instead it did this:

XML Parsing Error: junk after document element
    Location: http://www.website.com/sitemap_index.xml
    Line Number 36, Column 54:<!-- XML Sitemap generated by Yoast WordPress SEO --><script type="text/javascript" > jQuery(document).ready(function($) { jQuery.get('http://www.website.com/wordpress/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=0'); }); </script>
    -----------------------------------------------------^

sitemap-index.xml does not exist in cpanel public folder. Even asking it to show hidden files it can’t see it.

No wpseo tables in database exist, I’m unsure where you store plugin information. I can’t even look at this error line number.
    ——————————————-
I did this: Deactivated Plugin then deleted, then reinstalled

I expected the plugin to do this: work again

Instead it did this: same error.
    ——————————————-

I did this: posted a junk post

I expected the plugin to do this: recreate sitemap

Instead it did this: same error.

    ——————————————-
I did this: Deactivated last two installed plugins. Organise series post (3 weeks ago installed it) and Covert Cookie (1-2 week ago installed it) Deleted wpseo again, installed again

I expected the plugin to do this: magically start working

Instead it did this: same error

    any thoughts? ideas? questions?
