Have been using Yoast for some time but on one of my new installations, after toggling the XML sitemaps to on, the link takes me to a “Page cannot be found error”.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

The URL to your sitemap should end with the path /sitemap_index.xml as that is the sitemap created with the Yoast SEO plugin. If it is a different URL, then that isn’t being created by the Yoast SEO plugin.
