xml import not transferring images to library.

    I used the Tools>export>import method of transferring a site from one server to another, same URL. None of the images transferred.
    I had taken a local copy of the whole site, so uploaded the wp-content/uploads folders’ contents to the new server manually with FTP.
    Graet. All the images showing, everything good…

    ..except: none of the uploaded images are showing in the media library. Is there a way to get them to register in the library?
