 * Can you elaborate on this some more? XML is just a language to describe documents,
   so without specifics, there’s no way to cover all table formats.
    What specifically
   do you have in mind?

 * Hi! Thanks for your quick reply! I want to convert some local sport scores and
   standings to tables. They provide XML’s to distribute the scores and standings.
   So I want to use your plugin to make these tables. Is this possible?

 * ok, but without knowing how to interpret that XML file (i.e. TablePress can not
   determine what the columns and rows are automatically), this is not really possible.
   Also, as that XML format would be very custom to the provider of that data, this
   would not really be useful to other users. My suggestion is to look for some 
   other method to convert that XML file to something that TablePress understands(
   like CSV, JSON, HTML, or XLS/XLSX).

 * no problem, you are very welcome!
 * No, sorry, I don’t know a way to do that. And actually there is not a fixed way.
   This is the same problem as to why I can’t import the XML directly. XML is not
   a file format, but a language to describe data. Without knowing what means what
   in that language, such automatic conversion is not possible.
 * I recommend that you ask the provider of the data to also offer it in other formats,
   like CSV.
