Support » Plugin: Open Social Share » tracking image modifying my site footer

  • Resolved deejay1152

    The tracking pixel from that mysteriously showed up a few days ago is adding an extra whitespace at the bottom of my footer.

    This script has been added to the header:
    <script src=”//

    This image is being added to all generated pages in the script section just before the “lrshare” divs.

    This is the1 x 1 pixel image being added:

    <img src=”//″>

    When I delete this image, the whitespace disappears.

    I never added this image, nor did I sign up for anything from I think this got added because I am a Login Radius Social Sharing client. (By the way, the Learn More link on that homepage does not work).

    Please give me instructions on how to permanently delete this tracking pixel (or some other fix) so it doesn’t get added to the generated page.

    Thank You

  • Hi deejay1152,

    Can you please provide a url where I can see this issue. When you disable the loginradius plugin is this pixel removed?

    LoginRadius Team

    Hi … sorry for the delay getting back to you …. yes… when I deactivate the plugin the whitespace disappeared …

    I deactivated and then reactivated the plugin as suggested and the whitespace at the bottom has disappeared. When I view the source code, the image is still loading (?????) … I’m not sure why this is happening but it seems okay now.

    If the whitespace mysteriously come back, I will create another post.

    Browser extensions can do some weird things like what you were describing. You can try opening the page in an incognito window and see if it still remains. Try that and see what you find.

    It’s not something we include in our plugins.
