# XAMPP localhost install plugin

 * Hi all,
 * I set up WordPress in my XAMPP setup. I added the plugin “[Document Management System](https://wordpress.org/plugins/dms/)”
   and following the installation steps, I’m now stuck in the error “The DMS plugin
   is unable to write to the document repository…”. How can I resolve this? This
   is all in a windows environment, so I don’t have the “sudo chmod” capability,
   and hope there is a simple solution.

 * To CHMOD files & folders, use [FileZilla](https://filezilla-project.org/) FTP
   client to connect to XAMPP and **right-click** files within this software selecting
   the **File Permissions** option.
