One of my clients reported that two of their three custom fields which once had WYSIWYG toolbars suddenly didn’t.
I upgraded the plugin to 4.1.3, and checked to see that those fields were still WYSIWYG fields; they were.
As I was working on this I found the following error in the console:
Timestamp: 14/05/2013 1:08:30 PM Error: Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #wp-wysiwyg-acf-field-Duties&Qualifications-51926f8c5b317-wrap Source File: http://[removed]/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=jquery,utils,plupload,plupload-html5,plupload-flash,plupload-silverlight,plupload-html4,json2,farbtastic&ver=3.5.1 Line: 2
The Duties&Qualifications field is the one of three that was still displaying the WYSIWYG editor; it’s the two beneath it in the sort order which aren’t. I moved the other two fields ABOVE Duties&Qualifications and the editors appeared again.
Is it possible that the & in the field name is suddenly causing an issue, where it was not in previous versions?
Thanks for your help.
