I am using CMB2 to output forms to frontend through shortcode. Everything works fine except the wysiwyg field.
After text is input in the field and form is submitted (caught through js and submitted via ajax) The value from the wysiwyg field is not submitted.
If i set a default value, that default value is submitted even after new text is typed.
It looks like it is not updating the value.

    Any clue why?

    Good day.

I’d be checking both the JS collection side of things, to make sure it’s part of the outgoing AJAX request, and then also the PHP side to see if it’s part of the incoming values. This could be via $_POST or $_REQUEST super globals. Can you confirm that both are working at this point?

    Hello :),
I can confirm that both are working perfectly, the form is made up of a lot of different fields, and all work. The only one not sending the data properly is the wysiwyg.

In what way is it not sending properly? Zero data for the WYSIWYG field being part of the resulting request when receiving on the PHP end? Mangled data? Thinking you’ve got everything saved properly but later when trying to display, nothing is showing up?

Pastes of the code being used may help as well, for what it’s worth.

Please let us know if you are seeing any errors in your javascript console as well.
