  • I want to have in the wysiwyg editor the possiblity to format headings. It is very uncomfortable to write subheadings when writing pages. And I use it very often.

  • I found a solution how to enable headings and also other tinyMCE features.
I really appreciate it to be by default.
Who do not need subheadings h2, h3, h4? (In my template h1 is the page title and h2 is the post title.)

It will be great to have an options, to switch some buttons on or off.
For example technically oriented blogger needs rich formating of tables, superscripts and subscripts.
Socially oriented blogger uses more often blockquotes and emphasis, but do not need to publish tabular data.
Internet oriented blogger uses often codes and links to other resources.
People writing pages needs more subheadings. People writing posts don’t.
I think that customizable WYSIWYG will be useful for all users. And I do not think it is hard to implement, cause it was so easy to add new buttons by editing the line 127 in tiny_mce_gzip.php .

I can’t disagree with your last post. Fortunately, you can submit enhancements via trac.wordpress.org. 🙂

I thought that this is a place for feature requests.

Is it? Not many of the developers hang out here to my knowledge.
I’ve thought that this is the support forum. 🙂

exactly my whiches! TinyMCE is almost not configurable. No class for images (for floats), no simple buttons with h1, … for customers.

Why filters WP the original-version so much? Therefore almost every TinyMCE-plugin does not work.

Great xhtml-output, fast and easy, but…
