This is the white screen of disappointment (some say ‘white screen of death’ but it usually isn’t that terminal). This usually indicates that a programming error in the PHP has resulted in the server not being able to build the page. It can be caused by an error as small as a missed semicolon at the end of a line of PHP.
What updating did you do? were you editing theme or plugin files?
To fix this you can connect to your site files via ftp & reverse the changes or restore a backup of the edited file.
Just thought I should let you know. The “Twenty Fourteen” theme is at fault. When I changed to another theme everything worked fine. So the update for that theme that I installed on the 24th has an error in it. Not my programming. I just pressed update.

You might want to try deactivating your plugins – you can do this by renaming the “plugins” folder to “plugins-old”.
As you can see, the Twenty Fourteen works fine with the latest version of WordPress: http://wp-themes.com/twentyfourteen/ (WordPress 4.3-alpha-32323)
