I am a beginner and noticed the www file is missing. Others may be gone as well, but I’m not sure. Can I uninstall/reinstall WordPress?

Everything looked fine on the website you have in your profile. I’m assuming that’s the website your referring to, if not please give the address.

As far as reinstalling wordpress yes it’s quite simple to reupload files. These instructions might help. If not let me know.

What is a “www file”? Never heard of it.

    MimiMuterspaw,

If Im understanding you, you are refering to a ‘file’ named WWW that you usually see when you access your site using ftp?

The WWW ‘file’ (and you are actually correct in calling it a file) is a symlink to your public_html/ directory. It’s something that exists for the server, the box, not necessarily for you.

You don’t need it. Dont worry about it.

if this is not what you are refering to, than you will probably need to provide more info.
