I am creating a WP site for a local organization. The address is http://chooseliferutherford.org. I have WP 3.0.1 up and running perfectly with the genesis framework. Here is my problem: when i visit the site using the above address, the site appears correctly. However, upon using the prefix www. for my site, the site loads an older template that I overwrote with a new one – the one that appears with the URL I gave above! Why would adding www. change the entire site’s content? And how do I edit the site to be the same – whether using “http://www.”, or just “http://”?

  • I don’t see any difference. I get the same site in both cases.

It’s your own local problem. Try cmd if you use windows, then
type ipconfig /flushdns . There is more on Google about this.
    That refreshes your entire cache.

Thanks for both responses – it was the cache. I had cleared the cache from within chrome but that must not have solved the problem.
