So I’m trying to develop a very minimalist look, and I like Wu Wei, but I just want to adjust certain things.
I’m getting somewhere by just trial an error–removing code and whatnot.
So I won’t bug you all with everything I’m trying to do, but just some things I don’t think I’ll figure out with simple cutting and pasting.
First off, I want the comments to be expanded from the main page without having to click on the comment number button.
It actually works like this only when an individual page is queried. For example, the main post link (http://solfulsouls.com/2011/08/01/hello-world/) or the sample page (http://solfulsouls.com/sample-page).
I guess this is done to save on loading times, but I plan to have only one post showing at a time anyway.
The other thing I’d like to do, which I’m gonna try and figure out, is to move the main post title/link, with its date, on top of the body of the post and enlarge the body of the post to the full width of the column. It would also make sense to adjust the width of the comments accordingly.
Hm, one other thing might be to move the “Reply” for each comment from the top-right of the comment to the bottom-right.
Also, you might notice some awkward lines and borders from me removing–hopefully–code. =) So any help there would be appreciated as well.
I’m grateful for the support.
