# Wrong url when sharing

 * I’ve unknowingly messed up sharing functionality when I duplicated a post to 
   reuse its layout in similar posts. Apparantly the old url got stuck in the new
   posts.
 * Now, as an example, when people share this page ([https://scanfoam.org/peer-review-pre-or-post-ioannidis/](https://scanfoam.org/peer-review-pre-or-post-ioannidis/))
   they’re linking to this one ([https://scanfoam.org/intelligent-information-systems-in-ohca/](https://scanfoam.org/intelligent-information-systems-in-ohca/)).
 * I’ve found how to avoid the issue going forward, but I need to fix the wrong 
   ones that are live.
 * Is there a way to manually update the wrong urls or force your plugin to update
   to the right slugs? I have full admin priviliges and access to db.

 * You just need to clear bit.ly cache from the `Miscellaneous` section at plugin
   options page in admin area.
