Wrong Twitter handle attached to sharing icon on posts

    Hi,

    All of my setting are linked to @IAmPoppyEllis however when you hit the twitter share button on my posts, it shares with @Poppyellis. It posts to the correct account when I check the Publicize option when I update the post, its only when readers want to share.

    I have deleted and reconnected my twitter account but nothing is changing.

    How do I fix this?

    Could you go to Settings > Sharing in your dashboard, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and let me know what your twitter site tag setting is there?

    If that doesn’t help, could you also let me know what other plugins are currently active on your site?

    Ah-huh!
    I realized that I had Twitter connected correctly with Publicize, but had my Twitter name entered at the bottom of the page, not handle (without the @).

    Thanks! I thought having Publicize right would override everything else 🙂
