Wrong Tracker Domain used in Forms

    Hi,

    we are having the following issue. We have set our own tracked domain (www2.intraway.com) so all our Pardot assets use that tracker.

    therefore, the form link use that tracker i.e: https://www2.intraway.com/l/311371/2018-12-06/9n6f8

    Now when use the plugin in our website, the iframe doesn´t use that link, instead use the default tracker i.e: src=”https://go.pardot.com/l/311371/2018-12-06/9n6f8″

    The problem is that cookies (and therefore the visitor_id mapping with prospects) are associated mainly to www2.intraway.com so not using the correct tracker are creating issues regarding mixing activities between visitors.

    I check in the pardot API implementation, the embedded code returned is correct, so this issue is created by the plugin (I opened a ticket in Pardot support and they confirmed that as well and referreded me here).

    We need the correct tracker to be used: as workarround we are pasting the iframe as a HTML code in our most sensitive pages, but we want to be able to use the plugin.

    Hey @franciscogastiazoro,

    Thanks for the detail—I understand what you’re asking for.

    If you have a handful of forms, you can filter the form embed code using pardot_form_embed_code_[Form ID]. See the Filters heading here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/pardot/#faq

    If you’re using too many forms for that to be feasible, I would continue using the iframes for now.
