# wrong thumbnails everywhere

 * On my news website built on genesis framework with news child theme, I have used
   like button of facebook. But whenever user shares or likes the post, then that
   post shows on his own fb profile. thats cool.
 * but the image along with the post is always wrong. Plus, when I copy the link
   of a post and publish it to my fan page on Fb, then also all the images on the
   website gets fetched and the wrong one appears in the published link.
 * I use maxcdn as my cdn and also use wp-total cache. I have also installed facebook
   open graph protocol and a plugin “fix facebook like” but no vein.

 * You want to become familiar with “Open Graph Protocol” which will address these
   concerns.

 * Basically, you can _homogenize_ your content through the social networks. This
   would include images that you want to appear on the links, etc.

 * Install WordPress SEO by Yoast (plugin), it automatically adds a OG meta to your
   header. Also, it might get messed up if you’re using that with W3 Total Cache.
