 * Hello,
 * I’m having an unusual issue with Facebook sharing.
 * When the post is shared, the system selects a random cover image (I believe it
   picks the first one available). However, if I manually click on the post and
   select “Refresh Preview,” it corrects itself, and the preview appears correctly
   when using the Facebook sharing tool.
 * I am using the All In One SEO plugin.
   I have tried disabling the plugin, modifying
   the “Apply OG tags for Facebook” setting, and enabling cache clearing…
 * What could be causing this?
   Sample page with OG Tag: [https://riminireport.it/da-firenze-a-novellara-le-nuove-ambasciatrici-di-riccione-e-le-loro-storie-di-affetto-e-fedelta/](https://riminireport.it/da-firenze-a-novellara-le-nuove-ambasciatrici-di-riccione-e-le-loro-storie-di-affetto-e-fedelta/)
 * Thanks, and have a great day.

 * Hi,
   Sorry for the delay in replying, and thank you for the detailed information.
 * Since you mentioned that you are using an SEO plugin, as a first step, could
   you please temporarily **disable our “Enforce OG tags for Facebook” option**
   and test the Facebook preview again?
 * SEO plugins can also generate their own OG tags, so disabling this option will
   help us check whether multiple OG tags are affecting the image Facebook picks
   up.
 * After disabling the option, please test the post again and let us know whether
   the Facebook preview is displayed correctly.
 * Also, please confirm the following:
    - Our plugin first checks for a **Featured Image** and uses it as the `og:image`.
    - If no Featured Image is available, it falls back to the **first image found
      in the post content**.
    - When Facebook crawls the page, it reads the OG information from the page source
      and uses the `og:image` for the link preview.
 * Could you please confirm whether the `og:image` currently shown in the page source
   is the image you actually expect Facebook to display? Or is the image in the `
   og:image` tag itself already different from the expected image?
 * Finally, please validate the same URL using **Facebook’s Sharing Debugger** and
   share the findings with us, particularly which image Facebook detects and whether
   it changes after refreshing/re-scraping the URL.
 * These details will help us narrow down whether the issue is related to multiple
   OG tags, the image selected for `og:image`, or Facebook’s processing of the page.
