I have confirmed the bug. It only happens when the category widget is active. I have not yet figured out how to solve that problem, so I added a “hide on category archive pages” option to the widget form. Checking that will prevent it from showing on the category pages. That is just a temporary solution until I can narrow down why extra posts are showing up that are not even in the FAQ category. Bizarre.
