Wrong status after Failed payment!!!!!

HI,
i noticed 3 failed payments in Stripe dashboard which your plugin marked as paid and thus we processed the orders, but we did not received the payment!
I checked this with Stripe support and they confirmed, that those payments we did not received and they are marked as failed…
How is that possible?
What we can do to prevent this situation in the future??Let me please know
